Teaching 1: Wisdom - Perspective (Professional Version)

This teaching expounds the two perspectives introduced in the teaching titled -Teaching introduction - Wisdom. From the Teaching Introduction - Wisdom, we learned that two different men saw a shiny metal from different perspectives: one (scenario A) saw the metal as a common metal and dropped it, and it resulted to lack. The other man (scenario B) saw it as a precious metal, and he took the metal home, studied it, kept it clean, and secured it; this resulted to sufficiency and life. On earth, a thing can be seen in different ways, but there is only one way to look at things such that it would result to sufficiency and life. This teaching illustrates how a thing differs when viewed from different perspectives. Also, in this teaching we will understand that the one way to view things such that it is the truth is only through the heavenly perspective. Thus, to see how a thing really is, it must be viewed from above the earth: that is, everything on earth must be viewed through the lens of…? This teaching will help you complete the above sentence.

Scenario C: Heavenly Perspective Vs. Earthly perspective

What is scenario C showing? When viewed from the top, the object is circular like a dome. When viewed from below, the object is circular like a bowl.

The illustrations show that certain reflective mediums can create an upside-down image of an object above the reflective medium. How an object looks when viewed from above the object is different from how it looks when viewed from below the object. If a standing person is viewed from above, the head of the person is seen first, and it is possible to see the whole body of the person. If a standing person is viewed from below, the feet of the person is seen first, and it is not possible to see the whole body of the person.

Considering scenario C, how about the view of a complete circular object from above the object and from below the object? The view of the object from above would be a complete circular object. The view of the object from below cannot be a complete circular object. A mirror is a reflective medium that reverses images. The clouds/sky is a reflective medium above the earth, and a mirror is like the sky. Considering the above: The earth is below the heavens, so things are inverted on earth, and it is not possible to see the whole picture of a thing from the earthly perspective because the earth is below the heavens. Therefore, to see a thing really as it is, it must be viewed from above the earth; that is, it must be viewed from the heavenly perspective because “in [His] light we see …”

Questions and Responses

Response: There are many ways to view things and there are many directions of flow, but there is only one direction of flow of power that is totally active and gives life. Power only flow from a supply to the demand: This implies that power can only flow from up to down. Power can only flow from high to low. Considering the direction of heaven(sky) relative to earth; we look up to the sky (heavenly) and look down to the ground (earthly). This implies that heavenly is up (the supply) and earthly is down (the demand of the supply). Thus, the earth is dependent on heaven for its survival. The outcomes of the two scenarios in the teaching titled – Teaching Introduction – Wisdom - show the direction of flow of power: Scenario A had no power flow thus remained lacking or stagnant because he did not keep the gold that could have helped him survive the hardship. Scenario B had power flow because he received and kept the supply. Thus, he survived the hardship (gained life.)

How does nature (God’s creation) show the above teaching?

1) Diffusion is the flow from high to low. 2) Current flows from positive (supply/source) to negative (demand/lack). 3) Gravity pulls from up to down. 4) Rain, sun, snow, breath flows from high (supply) to down (demand). 5) Humans comes into this world (are born) upside-down (inverted).

Meditate, Search, and Study

Meditate, Search, and Study
No flow = stagnant = death ; Flow = moving = life; No flow = demand= lack = death; Flow = supply = abundance = life; Flow (from Heavenly) = active = Grace = Truth = Life; Flow (from earthly) = passive = self = deception = death. This implies: Flow (from Heavenly) = Flow = Life; Flow (from earthly) = No flow = death.

What ensures continuous flow?

1)Power flows from positive (up/supply) to negative (down/demand). 2) The supply (source) is limitless. 3) The supply and the source are received (accepted). 4) The supply is actively used. 5) The supply pipeline is open and not blocked nor intercepted.

Search and complete the following bible verses: 1) “Set our mind on…” 2) “…God will supply all…” 3) “…My grace is sufficient for…” Complete the following: 1) Wisdom is ……………. 2) A wise person is ………….. The next teaching will be presenting the personality of Wisdom: The hidden treasures of the Tree of Life.
